GCME, Inc. is a full service State/FDOT certified (SBE/DBE) geotechnical engineering company, established in Florida since 2001. Mr. Partha Ghosh, P.E. is the founder and president of GCME, Inc. GCME under Mr. Partha Ghosh’s leadership till date has been providing FDOT and other public and private agencies with geotechnical services for a total of more than 150 projects including 100 FDOT [including Turnpike Enterprise] highway and bridge projects.
GCME was the only geotechnical consultant, as part of the I-595 Corridor Design Consultant [CDC] team representing FDOT D-IV, performed all the necessary field exploration, laboratory testing and preliminary engineering required as per FDOT design standards to develop the Technical Criteria Package for the I-595 P3 project, in South Florida. GCME is also responsible for providing all geotechnical design review for this largest P3 project in Florida.
In addition, GCME (as consultant to FDOT D-IV) has performed all the field & preliminary engineering services for the I-75 Express Lanes projects [all 5 Segments] in Broward & Miami-Dade County. At present, GCME is the owner’s rep for geotechnical reviewing all submittals including ELOIs, Technical Proposals and post award Design Submittals for the I-75 project.
GCME (as consultant to FDOT D-V) has also performed all the field work & providing preliminary engineering services for the I-4 P3 projects in Central Florida for preparation of the RFP documents.

Partha Ghosh, P.E., President
Mr. Ghosh is the founder and president of GCME, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree [BS] from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India. He came to the United States to pursue graduate studies in Clemson University, South Carolina with full scholarship and earned his Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
Mr. Ghosh started his career in US, as a staff geotechnical engineer in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a nationally recognized consulting engineering and testing firm. He progressed from staff engineer to project manager and senior engineer. In 2001, Mr. Ghosh started GCME, Inc.
Mr. Ghosh is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and has 24+ years of comprehensive experience working with the FDOT Districts (specifically South Florida) and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) in the field of Geotechnical and Materials Engineering. He has served as the Senior Engineer / Project Manager and Geotechnical Engineer of Record for major FDOT / FTE and other public sector projects in South Florida. He has extensive experience in performing field and in-house investigation for roadway and bridge foundations, quality control / assurance of Construction Engineering Inspection and utilizing the Standard Index System, and prepared the geotechnical reports for major FDOT Highway and Bridge projects.
Mr. Ghosh’s project experience ranges from parking lots to high-rise buildings, interstate highways and bridges including Category 2 and bascule bridges over ICWW. Mr. Ghosh has served as the Senior Engineer / Project Manager and / or Geotechnical Engineer of Record for over hundred (125) FDOT projects. He is presently serving as the Geotechnical Task Leader for FDOT responsible for reviewing all geotechnical reports / documents prepared by the concessionaire for the I-595 P3 Project in South Florida. He is presently also serving as the Geotechnical Task Leader for FDOT for the I-75 Express Lanes projects [all 5 Segments] in Broward & Miami-Dade County.
