Mr. Partha Ghosh, P.E. founder and president of GCME have worked in the field of geotechnical engineering for over 32+ years and completed numerous major public sector/FDOT projects from PD&E to final design. GCME, Inc. under Mr. Partha Ghosh’s leadership till to date has been providing geotechnical services for a total of more than 300 public sector [including FDOT & Turnpike Enterprise highway and bridge], SFWMD, County and City projects.

GCME was the only geotechnical consultant, as part of the I-595 Corridor Design Consultant [CDC] team representing FDOT D-4, performed all the necessary field exploration, laboratory testing and preliminary engineering required as per FDOT design standards to develop the Technical Criteria Package for the I-595 P3 Project (Project Cost $1.2B), in South Florida. GCME is also responsible for providing all geotechnical design reviews for this major first P3 project in Florida.
GCME also provided similar geotechnical services for the Design-Build I-75 Managed Lanes Project (Project Cost $800M+), in South Florida for FDOT D-4.
GCME also provided similar geotechnical services for the largest I-4 P3 Project (Project Cost $2B+), in Central Florida for FDOT D-5.

Partha Ghosh, P.E., President
Mr. Ghosh is the founder and president of GCME, Inc. He earned his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree [BS] from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India. He earned his Master of Science [MS] degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from Clemson University, South Carolina, USA.
Mr. Ghosh started his career in US, as a staff geotechnical engineer in West Palm Beach, Florida, with a nationally recognized consulting engineering and testing firm. He progressed from staff/project engineer to project manager and senior engineer. In 2001, Mr. Ghosh started/incorporated GCME, Inc. and started operation January 1, 2002.
Mr. Ghosh is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and has 32+ years of comprehensive experience working with the FDOT Districts (specifically South Florida) and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) in the field of Geotechnical and Materials Engineering. He has served as the Senior Engineer / Project Manager and Geotechnical Engineer of Record for over 350+ major FDOT / FTE and other public sector projects in South Florida. He has extensive experience in performing field and in-house investigation for roadway and bridge foundations, quality control / assurance of Construction Engineering Inspection and utilizing the Standard Index System, and prepared the geotechnical reports for major FDOT Highway and Bridge projects.
He served as the Geotechnical Task Leader for FDOT for the I-595 P3 Project, Design-Build I-75 Managed Lanes Project and Design-Build I-95 Segments B-1, B-2 and C Projects, in South Florida and for the largest I-4 P3 Project (up to procurement) in Central Florida.
